[censored] bitching already. What were the coaches suppose to tell the kids, to quit scoring. Come on man. It's not the team or the coachs fault for the score, it's Gate Citys fault for not stopping them. Gate Citys wasn't impressive at all. I couldn't tell you how many false starts GC had that weren't called, but hey it didn't really matter did it? Ah, [censored] it. Anyways congrads to the 2006 LPD Champs on a geat season.

Congrats to the 2006 JI Burton Football team, you have successfully completed one of your goals for the season, good luck in the playoffs. It has been a long time since the perfect 10-0, 1972.

Also, I heard today that since the split of the divisions in 1987 this is the first Division 1 team to go 10-0 and win the LPD championship outright. That seemed kinda odd I thought maybe Appy did it in the mid to late 90's but I can't really remember. Either way congrats and keep playin for #55. Wrong.... Appy did it in 1993 10-0 in the regular season, then self destructing in the state championship game. Definatly got some payback the following year though.

Lost a lot of respect for what? Trying to put the game away as Early as possible? after burton put up the 43 spot on ya, then they put the 2nd team in. Then you guys scored... if the coaching staff wanted to you would have walked away with ZERO TD's... The 2nd half It was clear GC was wore down, and had no chance so after the First TD which was pretty much uncontested... they put in the 2nd team... They could have scored 70+ Easily the way GC was dragging in the 2nd half. SO I wouldn't say "I've lost respect for one of the most respectable coaches in the LPD... he doesn't run the score up on ANYONE and 40 points on someone then putting the 2nd team in isn't Running it up when 90% of the time you have 40 points at half time (Think about that)
